Easter Party

This weekend, Trey hosted an Easter party for all of his little friends. This is something Mommy had long wanted to do, and we started it this year in hopes it can be an annual event! We had a great party and Easter egg hunt in the park across the street from our house, and we asked everyone who attended to bring a food or children's clothing donation for the Star of Hope Mission (a local homeless shelter). It was a great success!

We set up activity stations with egg decorating (with stickers), and coloring Easter-themed pages. We also had a snack table for the kids to enjoy their juice and snacks. And, for the grown ups, we had Moeller's famous petit fours (the kids enjoyed these too). It's too bad we didn't get better pictures, but we were all so busy running around with all the activity!

We had a great turn out of close to 30 kids, and everyone seemed to love the chance to hunt for Easter eggs. There was even an appearance by the Easter bunny!

Everyone had a great time, and the kids all looked so cute in their Easter clothes. Most importantly, though, we got some great donations for Star of Hope. We can't wait to do it again next year!

You have to see it to believe it

On Sunday night, we went out to a sushi dinner with Trey, where he scarfed down an order and a half of edamame, and toward the end of the meal, we caught him trying to put an edamame bean up his nose.

This video is from dinner the following night.
