Trey lost his beloved great-grandfather Pappa tonight, following a series of complications after open heart surgery. Pappa was such a sweet, special man, and we are sorry Trey won't get to know him more as he grows. Before Trey was born, Pappa called him "Bo," which is why we often call our little boy "Trey-Bo." He is also one of the reasons Trey loves to bounce - from very early on, Pappa would bounce Trey in his lap singing "Old Dan Tucker." Pappa had said he never expected to live long enough to meet his great-grandchild, and we are so glad he had a chance to get to know Trey. They were so, so sweet together, and Trey loved his Pappa as much as the rest of us did. There is so much more we could write, but it's enough to say that we will all miss him dearly.
